Not exactly sure how the bluetooth works unless it requires something the 2009 Dell's WI-FI card slot doesn't have.

Then again it seems like most Windows problems are caused by unnecessary things added or changed by an update. Reason I say it is unnecessary is because my WI-FI was working just fine before that update.

These card are in a bunch of different Dell and HP laptops you can also get them on ebay and other places, if the card was provided by an OEM check their website first as they may have devices IDs that are different to the generic Intel drivers.
